Tajir Limited, the company that owns Alyria's technology was incorporated to develop and invest in new breakthrough technologies.

Opportunity was identified as part of an attempt to decarbonize the shipping industry.

Beginning of the technical review to assess existing technologies and define a feasible solution. 

First concept was designed to integrate well proven technologies in a hybrid Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) system.

Work commenced in validating and optimizing the first concept. 

Second concept was developed in an attempt to create a blades-less design with fewer moving parts and potential to extend the range of EVs.
